?2~8?1U+`+~:`As members of the Chicago Chapter, you are on the forefront of green building and sustainable design. The USGBC is eager to have your involvement in the evolution of LEED® and knows that you will contribute significantly to what it will become.
h.X2XSXr0In order to provide a standardized way for Chapters to provide input, the USGBC has created an interactive process for submitting ideas for changes you’d like to see made to LEED® as well as for formal, detailed proposals on specific changes to Version 3.0. The Chapter will utilize this format as a basis for garnering Chapter member input, while adapting it to allow as much feedback, both electronically and in-person, as possible. 绿色建筑博客hxu eN
The feedback process involves two steps: idea generation and proposal development. “Ideas” generally address how to improve and/or revolutionize the LEED rating system, while specifically evaluating how they 1) improve the performance of the LEED rating system; 2) expand the market for the LEED rating system; and 3) enhance the business of the LEED rating system. Proposals are detailed and comprehensive changes to LEED based on the same three criteria, but justified on a cost-benefit basis. USGBC envisions that many more ideas will be submitted than full proposals.

Please RSVP to Doug Widener at: chicago@chapters.usgbc.org by Monday August 7, if you plan to attend. (In addition, persons planning on attending this session should read the additional information provided at the end of this letter to better prepare for the session).
